The City of San Fernando (CSF) government inaugurated today, May 24, a newly constructed building which will house the new offices and headquarters of the City Tourism and Investment Promotion Office (CTIPO) – Investment Promotion Division and City Public Order and Safety Coordinating Office (CPOSCO).
The building, which is within the City Town Center in Calulut along the stretch of the Tourism Road, is a primary tool to “adapt to a global-standard public order and safety” and “enable sustainable local economic development,” remarked City Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag in her speech delivered by City Administrator Engr. Nelson Lingat.
The activity was graced by City Vice Mayor BJ “Tiger” Lagman and City Councilors Ricky Hizon, Reggie David, and Angel Wijangco.
Also present in the event were CTIP Officer Ching Pangilinan and CPOSCO Supervising Administrative Officer Joselito Ortaliz, Jr. representing CPOSCO Chief Louie Clemente & Focal Person Darius Hizon, and Alfred Gabriel Caluag.
Representatives from various national government agencies, including the Department of Trade and Industry – Pampanga Director Elenita Ordonio – and Pyestang Fernandino 2023 Executive Committee members, also witnessed the blessing.
The blessing was officiated by Rev. Fr. Jess Manabat, Parish Priest of the San Vicente Ferrer Parish in Calulut village.
While the offices have yet to be filled with equipment, fixtures, and necessary tools , operations of CIPD will remain at the Heroes Hall, and CPOSCO will still hold office in its Dolores Intersection headquarters and satellite building in Malpitic, respectively.
