DOTr Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas and Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel graced the Kariktan Fashion Show at Royce Hotel and Casino in celebration of the 454th Aldo ning Kapampangan, joining leaders and cultural advocates in honoring the province’s heritage and creative excellence.



Spearheaded by Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda and attended by Pampanga Second District Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the event spotlighted the works of renowned Kapampangan designers—including Mak Tumang, Mich Viray, Philip Torres, Ditta Sandico, Marlon Tuazon, Frederick Policarpio, Rhon Balagtas, and Adrian Samagun—whose masterpieces showcased the depth, identity, and global caliber of local craftsmanship.









Representing Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., Manuel conveyed the congressman’s message of support: “We proudly honor the artistry of our Kapampangan designers. On behalf of Cong. Pogi, we reaffirm our commitment to uplifting local talent and preserving the rich cultural heritage of our province.”














Calaguas likewise underscored the value of cultural empowerment, saying: “Tonight’s showcase reflects the creativity, identity, and resilience of the Kapampangan people. We will continue to support initiatives that celebrate our culture and empower our local communities.”
