Camalig Restaurant closes after decades of serving Angeles community

Camalig Restaurant, long regarded as a place of choice for generations of families, couples, and friends, has officially closed its doors, marking what many consider the end of an era in the local dining scene.

The restaurant first opened to the public on December 13, 1980, and served the community for more than four decades. Its final day of operation was January 13, 2026.

Known for being a go-to venue for dating, family dining, and casual gatherings, Camalig became a familiar landmark for Angeleños through the years.

Meanwhile, customers craving its signature product, Armando’s Pizza, also known as “Ang Pambansang Pizza,” can still visit the brand’s new store located at The Quad Annex, Nepo Center, Teresa Avenue, Angeles City, across the Entech 1 Building. Store hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Armando’s Pizza is also available through delivery partners GrabFood and Food Panda.
