Cash remittances from overseas Filipinos (OFs) grew by 3 percent in July 2025, reaching US$ 3.18 billion from US$ 3.08 billion in the same month last year, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reported.
Of the total, land-based OFs sent US$ 2.59 billion, up 3 percent year-on-year, while sea-based OFs contributed US$ 585 million, an increase of 3.1 percent.

Cumulative cash remittances from January to July climbed to US$ 19.93 billion, higher than the US$ 19.33 billion recorded in the same period in 2024, marking a 3.1 percent rise.

The United States remained the leading source of remittances, followed by Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
Personal remittances, which include transfers via banks, informal channels, and in-kind contributions, also increased by 3.1 percent to US$ 3.53 billion in July. For the first seven months of 2025, personal remittances totaled US$ 22.21 billion, up from US$ 21.53 billion a year earlier.
