Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, launched its inaugural direct flight from Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City on April 7, offering a more convenient and affordable travel option for passengers from Central Visayas to explore Southern Vietnam.
The airline now operates non-stop flights from Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

“Our direct flights provide a hassle-free and cost-effective travel experience for everyone. No more layovers—just a simple, direct route to the vibrant charm of Vietnam. We’re thrilled to be the first airline offering direct flights between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City, a city rich in history, culture, and delicious cuisine,” said Michelle De Guzman, Marketing Director at Cebu Pacific.
With the launch of the Cebu-Ho Chi Minh route, Cebu Pacific now offers flights to 24 domestic and 7 international destinations from Cebu. This addition, along with new routes to Masbate, San Vicente, Bangkok (via Don Mueang), and Osaka, will increase the airline’s capacity in Cebu by 18% year-on-year, adding over 89,000 additional seats.
Cebu Pacific’s direct flights offer one-way all-in fares up to 43% lower than competitors, making Ho Chi Minh City more accessible for travelers in Central Visayas. Visitors can enjoy iconic experiences such as cruising the Mekong Delta, exploring the Cu Chi tunnels, or immersing themselves in Vietnam’s history at the Saigon Opera House.
Cebu Pacific now serves 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
