Cebu Pacific (CEB) has launched its A330neo service to the Bohol-Panglao International Airport, expanding capacity on the Manila–Bohol route and strengthening connectivity for travelers and residents of the province.
The 459-seat aircraft will now operate daily, providing more opportunities for domestic and international tourists to visit Bohol’s attractions, while offering Boholanos greater access to destinations across the Philippines and abroad.

The inaugural A330neo flight received a water cannon salute upon arrival at Bohol-Panglao International Airport. A brief ceremony followed, attended by Bohol Governor Erico “Aris” Aumentado, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Deputy Director General for Operations Retired Lt. Gen. Rozzano Briguez, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Corporate Affairs Atty. Maria Cecilia Natividad, Aboitiz Airports Chief Operations Officer Terence Delomoney, Bohol Provincial Tourism Office OIC Joanne Pinat, and Bureau of Fire Protection Provincial Fire Marshal F/Insp. Eulalio Gementiza.
“The first A330neo flight marks a new chapter for Bohol-Panglao International Airport,” Aumentado said. “This achievement strengthens our tourism, boosts our economy, and showcases what collaboration can accomplish.”
Natividad added that expanding A330neo service to more domestic routes supports the airline’s core mission. “We reinforce our goal to make air travel accessible for every Juan and to support tourism and economic growth across the Philippines,” she said.
Cebu Pacific operates the largest A330neo fleet in the Asia-Pacific region, with 13 aircraft currently in service. The airline also uses the A330neo on flights to Cebu, Davao, General Santos, and Puerto Princesa, as well as select international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The move aligns with CEB’s commitment to efficiency and sustainability. Airbus NEO aircraft consume up to 25 percent less fuel and produce lower noise levels than previous-generation models, resulting in reduced carbon emissions and more cost-effective operations.
