Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, has taken delivery of its first aircraft for 2026, an Airbus A320neo, as the airline prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary on March 8.

The aircraft arrived in Manila on March 6 from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France. It is the first of four A320neo aircraft expected to join Cebu Pacific’s fleet this year.

In total, the airline anticipates receiving seven new aircraft in 2026 as it continues to expand capacity in response to sustained travel demand.

β€œThis delivery sets the tone for our 30th year,” said Xander Lao, President and Chief Commercial Officer of Cebu Pacific. β€œIt reflects our continued investment in growth so more passengers can look forward to accessible and reliable air travel in the years to come.”

The Airbus NEO aircraft are the latest-generation models designed to burn about 15 percent less fuel per flight and produce lower noise levels compared to earlier aircraft, contributing to reduced carbon emissions.

Cebu Pacific currently operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, composed of 14 Airbus A330 aircraft, 27 Airbus A321 aircraft, 39 Airbus A320 aircraft, and 20 ATR 72 turboprop planes. The diversified fleet allows the airline to maintain one of the widest network coverages across the Philippines.
