The Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (RLECC) 3 and the Joint Anti-Bank Robbery and Cybercrime Coordinating Committee (JABRACCC) 3 reinforced inter-agency collaboration during a joint meeting on February 23, 2026, aimed at strengthening peace and order across Central Luzon.

At the PRO3 Multi-purpose Hall, officials presented updates on intensified law enforcement operations, including the scheduled destruction of confiscated modified and illegal mufflers. From June 19, 2025, to February 22, 2026, 5,227 illegal mufflers have already been destroyed, with an additional 3,005 earmarked for destruction as part of the ongoing campaign to safeguard public order and road safety.

Authorities also reported over 4,000 seized loose and illegal firearms now accounted for, representing a significant step in neutralizing threats to community safety.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. highlighted the achievements as a testament to coordinated governance. “These results show what we can achieve through a whole-of-government approach. This is not the effort of the PNP alone. Through the strong partnership within RLECC 3, JABRACCC 3, and our allied agencies, we continue to deliver concrete actions that protect our communities,” he said.
He added that these initiatives align with the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief PNP PGen Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., emphasizing law enforcement efficiency, integrity, and accountability. In PRO3, this vision is guided by the 3Ps — Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of all member-agencies to sustain coordinated enforcement efforts and further enhance public safety initiatives across the region.
