Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr.’s Chief Political Affairs Officer (CPAO) Reina Manuel met with Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) Region 3 Director Wilfredo Cruz on July 31 to explore possible livelihood and fisheries support for the First District of Pampanga.

The meeting focused on aligning potential programs of Congressman Lazatin Jr. with DA-BFAR initiatives to benefit local fisherfolk and promote food security in the district.

“Cong Pogi wants to ensure that there is concrete and sustainable support for our fisherfolk,” Manuel said. “We are coordinating with partner agencies to make sure his development agenda reaches every sector.”

The collaboration forms part of Lazatin’s ongoing commitment to provide inclusive services through strong inter-agency partnerships, particularly those that promote livelihood and resilience among marginalized communities.
