Pampanga 1st District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has filed House Resolution No. 734 congratulating seven-year-old Adam Delos Reyes of Barangay Pandan, Angeles City for winning silver and bronze medals at the 6th Asian Open Schools Invitational (AOSI) Aquatics Championship held from January 29 to February 1, 2026 in Thailand.
Delos Reyes, a 2nd grader at Living Stone International School, competed in the 50-meter backstroke and the 4×50 medley relay, securing silver and bronze, respectively.


“At such a young age, Adam has brought pride to our country through his achievements,” Lazatin said.
Before his international success, Delos Reyes earned multiple gold medals in local competitions, including the MILO Championship Cup IV, Royal Sprint Swim Battle, IGNITE Swim Battle Gladiator 2, ILUSTRE Cup 2025, The Championship Cup – Easter Special, and the Heartfelt Swim Celebration of Life. He has also received the Most Outstanding Swimmer Award five times.
A member of the Dax Swim Club Philippines in Angeles City, Delos Reyes is trained by Coach Jensen Halili.
The AOSI Aquatics Championship, organized by Global Aquatics and sanctioned by the Thailand Aquatics Association, gathers school-aged athletes and club teams from across Asia. The 6th edition featured participants from 20 countries, including Australia, Bhutan, Guam, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
