Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. showed his support for local enterprise by personally bringing his shoes to SneaCares, a homegrown shoe-cleaning service running a “shoe-cleaning for a cause” initiative to help fund hospital bills and medication for the owner’s mother.
Lazatin also extended financial assistance from his own pocket and encouraged the community to support the cause.

Cong Pogi said, “Hinihikayat ko rin ang mga miyembro ng ating komunidad na suportahan ang ‘shoe-cleaning for a cause’ ng SneaCares.”
Cong Pogi’s Chief Adviser and Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas, along with Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel, also provided financial donations to SneaCares.
Cong Pogi has long been known for championing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), a commitment that began during his term as Angeles City mayor. From 2019 to 2025, he strengthened the city’s One Town One Product (OTOP) Program by waiving fees for MSME owners and organizing regular trade fairs, with the city government shouldering all related expenses.
During his tenure, the OTOP store supported 20 local merchants, allowing them to receive 100 percent of their sales on a weekly basis.
SneaCares, owned by Ian Fernandez, offers shoe-cleaning services at P350 per pair or P1,000 for three pairs. Interested individuals may visit the SneaCares pages on Facebook and Instagram for more details.
