Connectbase, Converge partner to boost PH connectivity in Global Digital Market

Connectbase, the Operating System for Connected Commerce, has announced a strategic collaboration with Converge ICT Solutions Inc., expanding its connectivity ecosystem in Southeast Asia and strengthening global access to the Philippines’ fast-growing digital economy.

Through the partnership, Converge joins the Connectbase platform, making its pure-fiber and subsea infrastructure digitally accessible to carriers and enterprises worldwide via automated, API-driven connectivity commerce.

The collaboration broadens Connectbase’s reach into the Philippines while opening Converge’s high-performance network to a wider international market. Global carriers and enterprises can now instantly check serviceability, pricing, and availability across millions of locations nationwide—streamlining what has traditionally been a manual and time-consuming sourcing process.

Ben Edmond, CEO of Connectbase, said the move addresses the growing demand for automated, location-specific connectivity as AI workloads, cloud regionalization, and cross-border enterprise operations continue to expand across Southeast Asia.

“Converge has built a world-class fiber network, and Connectbase provides the digital transmission that makes it globally consumable, putting millions of Philippine locations instantly on the screens of the world’s largest network buyers,” Edmond said.

Converge operates one of the youngest and most advanced end-to-end pure-fiber networks in the country, spanning more than 896,000 kilometers and covering nearly 60 percent of Philippine households. The company has also invested in major trans-Pacific subsea cable systems linking the Philippines directly to the United States, Singapore, and Hong Kong, enhancing regional and global connectivity resilience.

Dennis Anthony H. Uy, CEO and Co-Founder of Converge, described the partnership as a key step in integrating the Philippines more deeply into the global connectivity economy.

“By joining the Connectbase ecosystem, we are enabling carriers and enterprises worldwide to engage with our network in seconds rather than days, while supporting the continued growth of Southeast Asia’s digital economy,” Uy said.

By onboarding to the Connectbase Seller Cloud, Converge transitions from manual quoting processes to automated responses, enabling faster participation in global requests for proposals, increased visibility among international buyers, and improved order accuracy through precise, location-level serviceability data.

The partnership is expected to shorten connectivity sourcing cycles from weeks to minutes, while giving global buyers access to resilient, low-latency fiber routes critical for cloud services, enterprise operations, and business process outsourcing traffic.
