Converge expands Bicol reach with new business centers in Sorsogon, Albay

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has strengthened its presence in the Bicol region with the opening of two new business centers in Irosin, Sorsogon, and Tabaco City, Albay, as part of its commitment to provide equal access to technology nationwide.

The new customer hubs—developed in partnership with managed service provider Ravenous Communications Inc.—aim to serve underserved communities by offering on-site support for bills payment, service upgrades, technical concerns, repair requests, and new service applications.

Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy led the ribbon-cutting for the Tabaco Business Center and met with local officials to discuss connectivity improvements in Albay. He emphasized the company’s efforts to build durable network infrastructure in remote towns to ensure households in rural areas enjoy the same opportunities as those in major cities.

“These are areas that need it most,” Uy said. “We want every household, even in far-flung barangays, islands, and mountainous areas, to have access to reliable connectivity.”

Ravenous Communications CEO Timothy Ordinario said the company now operates 10 Converge business centers across Bicol, serving small and medium enterprises as well as residential subscribers.

Before the Tabaco hub opened, residents in northern Albay had to travel about 45 minutes to Legazpi City for Converge services. The company is also in discussions with the municipal government of Catanduanes to extend connectivity to more households in the province.

The new centers are among the first to showcase Converge’s updated logo and branding, reflecting its transformation into a more innovative, customer-focused technology provider.
