Converge ICT Solutions Inc. recently recognized ten exceptional student-gamers from Metro and Mega Manila, giving them an exclusive opportunity to meet CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy at the Converge Global Headquarters.
The students were chosen through the FiberX Student League Ambassadors program, which ran nationwide in 2025 to identify young leaders who excel academically, demonstrate leadership, and embrace the digital lifestyle.

During the session, Uy shared his own journey in gaming, from buying and selling Pac-Man and Atari consoles in his youth to witnessing the rise of online and mobile games. He encouraged the students to see technology as a gateway to careers, entrepreneurship, and global competition.
“With our digital infrastructure, Filipinos can build careers as content creators, start-ups, or online entrepreneurs,” Uy said. “The future for the Philippines is bright because of you, our youth. With the right ecosystem, mentorship, and tools, you can create digital solutions that solve real problems.”
The event also highlighted Converge’s commitment to supporting the next generation of tech-savvy Filipinos. In 2025, the company partnered with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) for the nationwide yte Forward hackathon, engaging university students to develop tech solutions for SMEs’ business challenges.
The “Chosen X” FiberX Ambassadors were recognized in two categories: Golden X winners, who traveled to Thailand for exposure to the gaming industry, and Battlestation winners, who received upgraded gaming setups courtesy of Converge. Participating students came from universities including University of Asia and the Pacific, World Citi Colleges, New Era University, and Technological University of the Philippines.
Through programs like FiberX and Byte Forward, Converge continues to champion technology, esports, and innovation among Filipino youth, preparing them to thrive in a digital-first future.
