Among the regional top performers under the 2025 Fisheries Compliance Audit were Dinalungan and Dingalan (Aurora), Masinloc and Subic (Zambales), while Balanga City, Orani, Samal, Pilar (Bataan), and Sasmuan (Pampanga) represented the region as national nominees.

In the Barangay Environmental Compliance Audit, Barangay Kaypian (San Jose del Monte, Bulacan) led the city category, while Barangay San Antonio (Bagac, Bataan) topped the municipal category.

Under the 2025 Manila BAYani Awards, Baliwag City and Guiguinto, Bulacan emerged as the top city and municipality, respectively, for their strong implementation of the Manila Bay Clean-up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation Program.

San Jose lauded the awardees, saying, “The PAGMAYA Awards is more than recognition—it’s an inspiration to continue building clean, safe, and resilient communities.”

Now in its third year, PAGMAYA continues to celebrate local leaders who champion environmental stewardship and collective action toward a sustainable Central Luzon.
