The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) congratulated Barangay Margot for placing 5th Runner-Up in the 2025 Barangay Environmental Compliance Audit (BECA) – Regional Level.

Out of more than 500 barangays in the city category across Region III, Barangay Margot was recognized for its strong commitment to environmental protection, effective teamwork, and community-driven initiatives that promote sustainability and long-term impact.

The BECA is an annual program of the DILG that honors barangays demonstrating exceptional compliance with environmental laws and ordinances, while showcasing exemplary grassroots practices in environmental governance.
