Hundreds of residents from Macapagal, Calumpang, and Marcos Village in Mabalacat City benefited from free medical services during the PuroKalusugan Program of the Department of Health held Wednesday, July 30, at the Sitio Monicayo Covered Court.

Led by Mayor Geld Aquino, the City Health Office—under the supervision of Dr. Ann Mary Tolentino—provided free medical consultations, dental check-ups, chest x-rays, children’s vaccinations, prenatal check-ups, family planning services, HIV and blood sugar testing, free medicines, nutrition services, and PhilHealth registration. Also present was Councilor Dr. Stephen Aurelio, Sangguniang Panlungsod Chairman on Health and Sanitation, along with teams from various Rural Health Units.

The event also featured a lay forum discussing the importance of proper handwashing, rabies prevention, how to avoid hypertension and diabetes, and awareness about Mpox and other health concerns.
