Department of Tourism – Region III showcased the heart and soul of Central Luzonโ€™s cultural and culinary heritage at the recently concluded 35th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM), a weekend full of vibrant colors, flavors, and traditions.

Organized by the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), the PTM is more than just a showcaseโ€”itโ€™s a celebration of everything that makes Philippine tourism special. Now on its 35th year, PHILTOA teamed up with the Department of Tourism and the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines to bring together all 17 regions and over 200 exhibitors, all eager to show off their best.

Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco graced the occasion, leading the symbolic tree-planting ceremony alongside DOT-III Regional Director Richard G. Daenos, PhD, and officers from both Central and Regional Offices, who warmly welcomed guests and visitors.

RD Daenos said that Central Luzonโ€™s pavilion offered a taste of the regionโ€™s homegrown products. โ€œVisitors got to experience the famous Taba ng Talangka from Bacolor, Pampanga, the comforting Suklating Batirol from San Fernando, Pampanga; the distinct Tequila de Baler from Aurora; and the crunchy, irresistible Sitsarong Kibit that is also from Aurora.โ€

Art lovers were also drawn to Tang Lucioโ€™s beautiful Kulitan Calligraphy, while coffee enthusiasts couldnโ€™t resist Bataanโ€™s premium coffee beans. To top it off, Zambalesโ€™ stunning stone crafts left a lasting impression on everyone who passed by.
