As the main agency that oversees the implementation of the Risk Resiliency Program under Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (RRP-CCAM), DSWD Region 3 attended the orientation and preparation for the 2023 implementation of RRP-CCAM through Cash-for-Work program led by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Bulacan. 

The Technical Working Group of the province attended the meeting, along with representatives from the local government units, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Municipal Nutrition Action Office (MNAO), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), and Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO).

The orientation aims to provide guidance on the implementation of the program; discuss the project work plan; and provide technical assistance to all Technical Working Groups of the province and local governments.

Among the approved projects are the Sustainable Zero Waste Livelihood Program and Mangrove Planting for the Solo Parents in coastal areas and riverside of the Province of Bulacan. The allocated budget for said projects is estimated at P31,554,600.
