DTI Tarlac trains potential MSMEs in Sta. Ignacia

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) trained about 18 potential micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at barangay Macaguing in Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac. The municipal Negosyo Center led the training on 𝙃𝒐𝙬 𝙩𝒐 𝑺𝙩𝒂𝙧𝒕 𝒂 𝑩π™ͺπ’”π™žπ’π™šπ’”π™¨ and 𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 π‘·π’‚π’”π’•π’“π’š π‘΄π’‚π’Œπ’Šπ’π’ˆ.

DTI OIC-Provincial Director Florencio Balilo said the activity aims to encourage TarlaqueΓ±os to engage in business to boost the economy.

β€œThis seminar is a learning opportunity for potential micro, small and medium enterprises and we hope that through this activity, we were able to inspire them to become entrepreneurs,” Balilo said.

Business Counselor Kenneth Gabay discussed the importance of entrepreneurship, its rewards and risks, entrepreneurial characteristics, and the things to consider in starting a business.

For his part, Resource Speaker Omar Oriondo shared the process of making pan de coco, Spanish bread, bread rolls, ensaymada, cookies, macaroons, and cakes. (PIA 3)
