She also explored the role of AI in streamlining operations, improving customer engagement, and driving growth in today’s digital economy.

This initiative is part of DTI-3’s ongoing efforts to support MSMEs in their digital transformation journey, ensuring they remain resilient and competitive in the evolving digital marketplace.

DTI-3 Supervising Trade-Industry Development Specialist Jojo Toledo IV emphasized the importance of AI for business growth during his remarks.

“Adopting technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), is crucial for enhancing business capabilities, expanding market reach, and improving the competitiveness of MSMEs. Through this webinar, we aim to provide you with insights and strategies on how to leverage digital technologies and AI to optimize operations, grow your business, and stay ahead in the market,” Toledo said.

This activity aligns with DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina Aldeguer-Roque’s five-point agenda for MSME growth, which includes promoting the use of AI and digitalization, diversifying business models, providing funding support, creating franchising opportunities, and offering strategic mentoring and learning programs for MSMEs. DTI-3 remains committed to advancing the interests of MSMEs throughout the region.
