The combined net worth of the country’s 50 wealthiest individuals rose to $86 billion (₱4.9 trillion) in 2025, up from $80.8 billion (₱4.6 trillion) last year, according to Forbes. The increase was driven by the Philippines’ 5.4% economic growth in Q1, fueled by domestic demand and higher infrastructure investments.
Topping the list once again are the Sy siblings of the SM Group with $11.8 billion (₱675.4 billion), followed by Enrique Razon Jr. with $11.5 billion (₱658.3 billion), and Manny Villar with $11 billion (₱629.6 billion).

Notable movements include:
• Dennis Anthony & Maria Grace Uy (Converge ICT) climbing to 16th place with $1.6B, marking a 74% net worth increase.

• Tony Tan Caktiong (Jollibee Foods) dropping to 10th place with $2.9B from last year’s 6th.
• Aboitiz family sliding to 12th place while maintaining $2.2B in net worth.
• Benedicto & Teresita Yujuico (DDMP REIT) debuting at 50th with $185M.
Forbes noted that US tariffs weighed on the stock market, which fell 7% since the last assessment, but this was partly offset by a stronger peso.
