Five of Universal Robina Corporation’s (URC) flagship brands have once again proven to be household favorites, earning spots in the 2025 Brand Footprint Report by global consulting firm Worldpanel by Numerator.
Coffee favorite Great Taste, refreshing C2 green tea, well-loved potato snack Piattos, and noodle brands Nissin and Payless were among the most chosen fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) in the Philippines—recognized for their consistent presence in millions of Filipino homes.
URC Chief Marketing Officer Karen Ong expressed pride in the achievement, saying, “Our brands continue to earn the trust and loyalty of Filipino consumers… we’re proud that our products remain staples in homes across the country.”
The report, which measures “consumer reach points” (CRP) to rank the most purchased brands globally, saw Great Taste secure a place in the national top 10 with 367 million CRP, while C2 tallied 33 million CRP in beverages. Piattos held seventh place in the food sector with 180 million CRP, followed by Nissin with 101 million and Payless with 73 million CRP.
Worldpanel noted that an economic rebound in 2024 boosted FMCG spending by 6 percent, benefiting brands that stayed visible and accessible. URC, one of the country’s largest food and beverage manufacturers, continues to grow its presence in ASEAN with beloved regional products like Lexus, Tivoli, and Fun-O.
