Globe has ramped up efforts to restore connectivity in South Luzon and Visayas following the impact of Typhoon Opong, which has affected 29 provinces.
In South Luzon, full service has already been restored in Camarines Norte, one of the hardest-hit provinces. Recovery operations continue in other areas, with network teams deployed on the ground.
In Visayas, Globe has restored services in Bohol, Guimaras, Eastern Samar, Capiz, Cebu, Southern Leyte, Aklan, Antique, and Negros Oriental. Coordination with power utilities and local government units is ongoing to ensure a safe and speedy return of connectivity.
To further assist affected residents, Globe is preparing Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging (LTLC) stations in areas where they are needed.
The company assured communities that updates will be released regularly through its GlobeICON social media pages as restoration work progresses.
