Governor Delta personally visited the town of Sto. Tomas this Sunday, July 30, 2023 to extend assistance to some 2,000 residents affected by floodwaters brought on by Typhoon Egay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
The Governor was accompanied by Special Assistant to the Governor and PDRRM Chief Angelina Blanco, Acting PSWDO Head Fe Manarang and staff from PDRRMO, PSWDO, and GSO.
Vice Mayor Matias Bong Pineda and the town councilors accepted the aid which will be distributed to the seven barangays affected by floods.
On behalf of Sto Tomas Mayor John Sambo, Vice Mayor Pineda thanked Governor Delta, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, and members of the Provincial Council for the assistance provided to them.
