Gov.

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda assured the Muslim community in Pampanga of the provincial government’s continued support as he led the “Kapitolyo sa Barangay” program in Barangay San Pedro on Thursday, March 27.

The initiative came in response to a letter from Acting President Samad Zacaria of the Muslim Community of the City of San Fernando, which requested assistance for Ramadan and a personal meeting with the governor. In response, Governor Delta organized the event, where 599 Muslim residents from Barangays Juliana, Lourdes, Calulut, San Nicolas, Sto. Rosario, and San Pedro gathered to receive aid.

During the program, Governor Delta emphasized that all Kapampangans, regardless of faith, are treated equally when it comes to receiving assistance from the provincial government.

Each attendee received cash and food packs from the provincial government. Zacaria expressed his gratitude for the assistance, acknowledging its significant impact on the Muslim community as they celebrated the conclusion of Ramadan.

Governor Delta reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Muslim community and pledged to continue initiatives that promote their welfare and inclusion in Pampanga’s development.
