The Provincial Government of Pampanga, led by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, has provided P9 million worth of service vehicles to enhance the operational capacity of the police forces in the province.
Governor Pineda formally handed over the new fleet of service vehicles during a blessing and turnover ceremony at the parade grounds of the Pampanga Provincial Police Office (PPO) on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Included in the service vehicle allocation are three units of troop carriers and vans, strategically deployed to manage operations at the Pampanga PPO and the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP-AVSEGROUP) based in Clark.
Governor Delta emphasized that the additional resources were funded by the Provincial Peace and Order Council, aiming to fortify the police force’s capabilities in maintaining peace and ensuring a swift response during emergencies and disasters.
Pampanga PPO Provincial Director PCOL Levi Hope Basilio conveyed their gratitude for the unwavering support provided to them.
Another batch of patrol motorcycles is scheduled for distribution to the police force later this year, further ensuring the safety and security of the Kapampangan community.
