In response to the recent severe weather across Luzon, Grab and MOVE IT — in partnership with local driver leaders and hundreds of volunteers — launched large-scale relief operations for affected driver- and rider-partners and their families.
Aid was distributed in hard-hit areas including Marikina, Las Piñas, Cavite, Valenzuela, Navotas, Malabon, and provinces like Pampanga, Bulacan, Baguio, and Olongapo.
Thousands of Grab and MOVE IT partners received relief packs with rice, canned goods, noodles, biscuits, coffee, and essential medicines — underscoring the platforms’ commitment to the welfare of their communities.
“Our riders and drivers are the backbone of our ecosystem,” said Ronald Roda, Managing Director of Grab Philippines. “Supporting them with malasakit has always been our North Star — especially in times of need.”
