The recently concluded 3rd Kambal Festival of the Angeles City Government has given out grandest prizes ranging from ₱25,000 to ₱100,000 to its winners and even consolation prizes of ₱10,000 to non-winners.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. personally distributed the cash prizes during the awarding ceremony on October 7, 2023.
Barangay Sta. Teresita topped the 13 participating barangays in the festive float competition, and received a cash prize of ₱100,000. Best Float runners-up are Brgy. Agapito Del Rosario and Brgy. Cutcut with cash prizes of ₱50,000 and ₱25,000, respectively.
The grand winners for Category A are the twins from Barangay Balibago who received a prize of ₱50,000. For Category B, Barangay Cuayan got the first prize of ₱50,000.
Category A runners up are Barangays Cutud and Malabanias, while for other category are Barangays Cutcut and Cutud, with respective prizes of ₱25,000 and ₱15,000.
Meanwhile, the special awards of Most Festive Float and Early Bird Float and Twin Participants are Barangays Agapito Del Rosario and Cutud, respectively, with cash prizes of ₱20,000 and ₱10,000.
For the street dancing competition, the Cutud Elementary School, and the Angeles City National Trade School won the grand prizes in their respective categories, both receiving ₱100,000 in cash prizes.
The Angeles City Senior High School also got the early bird special award for the street dance group, with a cash prize of ₱10,000.
The runners up in the elementary category are Gueco Balibago Elementary School with cash prize of ₱50,000, and Lourdes Northwest Elementary School with ₱25,000 cash prize.
The same cash prizes were given as well to the runners up for secondary category which are Sitio Target Integrated School and Angeles City Senior High School, respectively.
All non-winners also got consolation prizes of ₱10,000.
