On February 10, 2025, during the Pampanga Provincial Government’s Kapitolyo sa Barangay Program, Cong. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. presented her with a birthday cake to Magalang Mayor Malu Lacson.

Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, and Board Member Jun Canlas joined in the celebration, making the occasion even more memorable.

As part of the Kapitolyo sa Barangay Program, Lazatin personally distributed Vitamin C supplements to Magalang residents, ensuring their health and well-being. The program provides an important platform for grassroots communities to engage with local leaders, including the governor, to address pressing issues and discuss community concerns.

The term “Cong” is a friendly, respectful way to address an older male in Kapampangan, derived from “coya” or “coyang.”
