Students from Holy Angel University (HAU) earned top awards during the GILAS 2026 inter-school competition held from February 11 to 12, 2026 at Holy Family Academy.
Carrying the theme “FUNMILIANS: Rekindling St. Benedict Spirit and Legacy,” the event showcased student talent, academic excellence, and values formation among participating schools.
Among the top winners from HAU was Akisha Abuyan, who secured the championship title in the Dagliang Talumpati category under the coaching of Mr. Neal Lagitnay. Jiarei Denise Cunan placed 1st Runner-Up in Essay Writing, coached by Mr. John Raphael Marquez. The HAU dance team also earned 1st Runner-Up honors under the guidance of Mr. Allency Nacpil.
The university said the achievements reflect the institution’s commitment to forming students grounded in faith, integrity, excellence, community, and social responsibility.
School officials congratulated the student winners, noting that their victories highlight both academic and values-based excellence among Angelite learners.
