Hann Philippines, Inc. is set to embark on a major expansion of its flagship Hann Casino Resort in Clark Freeport Zone, solidifying its leadership in gaming, hospitality, and real estate development in Central Luzon. This significant growth plan builds on Hann’s three successful years in Clark since the resort’s opening in 2021.
Strategically located at the corner of M.A. Roxas and Claro M. Recto Avenues, Hann Casino Resort has become an iconic architectural landmark in Clark. With the increasing demand for both gaming and lifestyle experiences, Hann is advancing its expansion to introduce new entertainment and dining concepts aimed at attracting both local and international visitors.
Expansion Highlights
The expansion will add 22,113 square meters to the property, with 5,093 sqm dedicated to new gaming spaces. On the ground floor, guests will find over 60 additional gaming tables and more than 500 slot machines. The second floor will host an exclusive area with private gaming tables and an upscale dining experience.
Expanding beyond gaming, Hann plans to open new restaurant concepts that celebrate East Asian cuisine. VIP guests on the second floor can look forward to fine dining with Korean, Japanese, and Chinese offerings, while casual diners on the ground floor will find a variety of East Asian dishes. Adding to this culinary journey is a central coffee and tea lounge inspired by the Silk Road, transforming into a cozy cocktail and wine lounge by night.
Project Timeline
The first phase of the expansion is expected to complete by Q4 2025, with the entire project set to finish by Q1 2026.
Partnership with Banks
Hann Philippines has entered a PHP 6-billion loan agreement with Asia United Bank Corporation (AUB) and Union Bank of the Philippines on November 12, 2024 to support the expansion. Since 2019, these partnerships have been pivotal to Hann’s growth in the region.
“We are proud to support Hann’s continued expansion and innovation in Central Luzon,” stated AUB’s Executive Vice President, Ernesto Uy. Union Bank’s EVP, Antonino A.S. Fajardo, emphasized Hann’s long-term vision, noting that “this expansion reaffirms Hann’s commitment to exceptional customer experiences and sustainable growth in Clark.”
Hann’s Chairman and CEO, Dae Sik Han, expressed gratitude for the partnership, saying, “This expansion is not just a milestone for Hann but a boost to Central Luzon’s tourism and economic development. We look forward to a brighter future with the support of our trusted bank partners.”
