Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort participated in the annual Brigada Eskwela initiative at the Sapang Bato Elementary School. Brigada Eskwela brings together individuals, organizations, and businesses to help prepare public schools for the upcoming academic year. It is dedicated to promoting a culture of volunteerism and solidarity within the community.
Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort employees shared their time and effort to help the teachers in cleaning classrooms, repainting chairs and tables of the students, and other essential maintenance tasks. In addition, solar-powered lights were also donated to the school. This will help the students to see better when it’s dark, enhancing the safety and security of the school premises.
As part of Hilton’s Travel with Purpose program, Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort selected Sapang Bato Elementary School to be their adopted school. Travel with Purpose is Hilton’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy to drive responsible travel and tourism globally. Through Travel with Purpose, Hilton seek to create positive environmental and social impact across their operations, supply chain, and communities.
“We believe in giving back to the communities that support us,” said Denise Molintas, General Manager of Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort. “Education is a cornerstone of development, and by participating in this initiative, we are investing in the future of our community. Participating in Brigada Eskwela aligns perfectly with our values of fostering local relationships and contributing to the wellbeing of the neighborhoods we operate in.”
