Holy Angel University (HAU) formally installed Leopoldo Jaime N. Valdes as its 10th University President during an investiture ceremony held on October 24, 2025, at the University Theater.
The ceremony began with the Reading of the Appointment by HAU Board of Trustees Corporate Secretary Erika Ana Andrea J. Nepomuceno. This was followed by Presentation of the Presidential Medallion and University Mace by Archbishop of San Fernando and Chairman of the HAU Board of Trustees, H.E. Most Rev. Florentino G. Lavarias, D.D..
Commission on Higher Education Region III Director Dr. Lora L. Yusi administered the Oath of Office, while Archbishop Emeritus of San Fernando H.E. Most Rev. Paciano B. Aniceto, D.D. imparted the Episcopal Blessing.
In his Inaugural Address, Dr. Valdes shared his vision for the university, marking the beginning of his leadership journey as HAU’s new president.
The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of the Presidential Portrait at the University Theatre Lobby.
Through this significant milestone, Holy Angel University reaffirmed its mission of excellence, faith, and service under the guidance of its newly inaugurated president.
