His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, graces Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) joint roundtable meeting in Makati, Philippines earlier this afternoon.
The PCCI-KADIN joint roundtable meeting discussed the expansion and strenghtening of Philippines – Indonesia bilateral economic ties. Among common areas of interest identified were mining, transportation, information and communications technology (ICT) and the digital economy.
The meeting was also attended by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary, Hon. Alfredo E. Pascual; the Minister for State-Owned Enterprise of Indonesia, Hon. Erick Thohir; Special envoy to Korea for digital Transformation Dennis Anthony H. Uy and Philippine and Indonesian business representatives.
