Officials of the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) and the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) met with Mabalacat City Mayor Geld Aquino on February 19 to discuss expanding job opportunities for Mabalacat residents in companies operating within the Clark Freeport Zone and nearby areas.
Among those present were Dr. Frankie Villanueva, past president of CILA, and Albert Sapaen Jr. of AmCham, both of whom expressed support for initiatives aimed at increasing employment for Mabalaqueñians.

The meeting highlighted the need to strengthen collaboration between the Mabalacat City Government and the business sector to generate more employment opportunities for local residents.
Discussions also focused on enhancing job facilitation efforts through closer coordination in recruitment, skills matching, and other job placement initiatives to ensure that more qualified Mabalaqueñians can secure positions in Clark-based locator companies.
The Aquino administration expressed full support for the plan, emphasizing its commitment to raising the city’s employment rate and bringing more job opportunities closer to Mabalacat residents.
