Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was arrested on Sunday, September 8. This is according to twin posts by Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos around 6:30 p.m.
Police Regional Office-Davao Director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III said he is leaving it up to the DILG Secretary to confirm the news. He also sees no bad blood between him and Quiboloy counsel, Israelito Torreon, saying they just performed their roles and things turned out well.
The police first stormed the KOJC compound in Davao City on August 24.
