A vibrant celebration of Kapampangan heritage and Filipino identity is unfolding at SM City Bataan with the launch of ‘KAPAMPANGAN KU: Madrid in Bataan 2025, an art exhibit featuring the works of acclaimed Kapampangan artist Manuel Trinidad Madrid.
Running from October 1 to 14 at the mall’s Level 1, the exhibit invites the public to an immersive experience of artistry, culture, and national pride.

More than an art showcase, KAPAMPANGAN KU serves as a visual journey into the Filipino spirit, highlighting resilience, memory, and diversity through Madrid’s deeply personal and evocative style. His works, rooted in both intimate recollections and collective narratives, explore the layers of Filipino identity—bridging indigenous traditions, history, and modern expressions.
Visitors can expect not only visual artistry but also cultural reflection, with each piece encouraging dialogue on what it means to be Filipino today. Madrid’s distinctive brushwork and emotional depth evoke nostalgia, pride, and a renewed sense of connection to heritage.
Open to all, the exhibit offers a meaningful encounter with Filipino creativity and unity, celebrating the enduring strength of the Kapampangan and Filipino spirit.
