In partnership with the Nanay Partylist, OFW Hospital, and Makati Medical Center, the Provincial Government of Pampanga conducted a pre-screening activity for its upcoming surgical, medical, and ophthalmological mission at the PDRRMO Training Center, in preparation for the Free Surgical Mission.

Under the leadership of Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, nearly 200 Kapampangans with various types of operable tumors were given free medical screening. Qualified patients are set to undergo free surgical procedures scheduled on February 18 to 21.

One of the beneficiaries, Ryan Tuquero of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, expressed his gratitude for the program. “Malaking pasasalamat ko po sa ating gobyerno dahil libre kaming nakapagpa-check-up, lalo na’t may bukol akong tatlong taon nang iniinda,” he shared.

The activity was led by Provincial Health Office head Dr. Dax Tidula, together with Executive Assistant IV Angelina Blanco, personnel of the Provincial Health Office, Nanay Community Workers, and medical teams from Makati Medical Center.
