Department of Transportation (DOTr) Assistant Secretary for Right of Way and Site Acquisition (ROWSA) and Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr.’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas presented Kape Angeleno to Land Registration Authority (LRA) Commissioner Gerardo Sirios and Legal Officer James Gutierrez as part of ongoing efforts to promote locally produced coffee.

Kape Angeleno is a signature product of Kapebaluan Coffee Shop, the city government-run cafe located at the Angeles City Library.

Kapebaluan was established during the term of then–Angeles City Mayor and now Pampanga First District Representative Cong Pogi, and was managed by Reina Manuel with Irish Llego. The coffee shop was created to provide a dedicated venue to showcase and sell coffee grown by Aeta farmers from Sapangbato.
