The establishment of the Local People’s Council was the main agenda in the meeting and orientation of all Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)in Malolos City, Bulacan held today, July 2.
The Local People’s Council, which is composed of CSOs, will help in effectively addressing the problems of the city and finding solutions to them.
Also discussed were the important roles that the CSOs would play in organizing the Local People’s Council and to ensure that the programs and projects of the local government are carried out accordingly, and to the benefit of the Malolenyos.
One of the responsibilities of the Local Peoples’ Council is to ensure that the funds are used fittingly and allocated to programs that would find solutions to problems that Malolenyos may encounter.
CSO Desk Officer Cristopher Dayao shared the Malolos LGU’S plans and programs that have been carried out, or have yet to be implemented.
In his message, Vice Mayor Miguel Alberto T. Bautista announced that his office, backed by the Malolos City Council, is ready to prepare resolutions that will mandate the City Government to establish the Local Peoples’ Council.
Also present at the meeting were the CSOs and City Planning and Development Office representatives George Ariel Aldaba Planning Officer I, Lily Angelyn Ramos-Lanozo Planning Orricer I Teodulo L. Cruz Admin Assistant II at Florderliza C. Morales Planning Officer IV.
