A Mass was held today, 27 October, at the Tarlac Cathedral as members of the clergy offered prayers for Mayor Susan Yap, following the COMELEC ruling disqualifying her over residency issues.

During the gathering, Yap urged her supporters not to worry, saying that “the truth will eventually come out.” She also thanked Tarlaqueños for their continued trust and assured them of her steadfast commitment to serve.

The mayor said she will exhaust all legal remedies to contest the decision, which she hasn’t formally received yet.
