Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II has directed key city departments to implement heightened safety, traffic, and emergency measures in preparation for Undas 2025.
The Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ACDRRMO) will roll out “Oplan Kaluluwa”, setting up emergency response and medical assistance stations at major cemeteries including La Pieta Memorial Park, Holy Mary Memorial Park, Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Sapangbato Cemetery, and the public cemetery in Sapalibutad. Mobile medical teams will also be deployed from October 31 to November 2 to ensure quick response for visitors and commuters.
The Angeles City Traffic and Development Office (ACTDO) is finalizing a comprehensive traffic rerouting plan to ease congestion along cemetery routes. The rerouting scheme will be posted on the City Information Office Facebook page for public guidance.
Meanwhile, the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) will deploy additional personnel to maintain peace, order, and security during the observance.
Mayor Lazatin underscored the importance of proactive readiness to safeguard Angeleños and ensure a safe, orderly, and peaceful observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days.
