MAYOR LAZATIN INAUGURATES MODERN LEARNING FACILITIES AT CCA

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the inauguration of new educational facilities at the City College of Angeles (CCA) on April 22, 2025, underscoring the city government’s commitment to accessible and future-ready education.

The newly completed infrastructure includes three cutting-edge hybrid classrooms, two fully equipped computer laboratories, and a multi-purpose hall. These developments are designed to enhance digital learning, support academic innovation, and provide a venue for student and community activities.

“These new facilities aim to equip students with the digital skills and knowledge essential for the digital age, emphasizing the city’s commitment to providing modern tools for enhanced learning opportunities,” Mayor Lazatin said.

Joining the mayor at the inauguration were Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, CCA President Dr. Frankie Villanueva, City Councilors Edu Pamintuan, JC Aguas, Jay Sangil, and Marino Bañola, as well as SK Federation President Richard Gaza Jr.

Also present were key department heads and officials from various city offices, including the City Engineer’s Office, Quality Management System, City Library, Environment and Natural Resources, Business Permits and Licensing, Social Welfare, Traffic Development, Health, Budget, Accounting, Treasury, Planning and Development, Civil Registry, Youth Development, Sports, Cooperative Development, and CCA’s Records Management Office.

The event highlights the city’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its educational infrastructure and support the holistic development of its students.
