On January 13, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. awarded a certificate of recognition and a cash incentive of P25,000 to Uyat Artista of Angeles City for being named the Best Cultural Group at the prestigious Aliw Awards.

Jayson Pabalan of Uyat Artista accepted the certificate and cash reward on behalf of the group from Mayor Lazatin.

The Aliw Awards, which were established in 1975, are one of the Philippines’ most esteemed platforms for recognizing excellence in live entertainment.
