Mekeni Food Corp was recognized as a valued Blood Partner by the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH) during the “Pista ng Pasasalamat” celebration held on July 11, 2025, at Heroes Hall in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The event, part of the National Blood Donors Month observance, honored organizations—including companies, LGUs, military units, religious and civic groups, and educational institutions—that have shown steadfast support for JBLMGH’s voluntary blood donation program.
Mekeni was acknowledged for its consistent conduct of bloodletting activities and its commitment to promoting volunteerism among its employees.
“We are truly grateful to all our valued blood partners for the strong and continuous partnership in saving lives through voluntary blood donation,” said Dr. Gil Bryan Galvan, Head of JBLMGH Blood Bank.
Representing Mekeni at the event were Assistant Vice President for HR and Exports Marilou Olalia Uy and HR Manager Apple Garcia. Uy expressed her gratitude on behalf of the company, saying, “It is an honor to be recognized as a blood partner. At Mekeni, we believe in the power of compassion and shared humanity. This recognition is for all our employee-volunteers who selflessly donate blood to help save lives.”
