The candidates of Mutya Ning Angeles 2023 showcased their talents on November 6, 2023 at Prime City Hotel.

The MNA is a priority project of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., co-presented by Beautéderm Corporation.

Serving as the panel of judges during the MNA talent competition are Peter De Vera, NCCA, National Committee on Dance; Lance Christian Tan, Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director of Albero Creatives; Jenneah Lenore Encarnacion, Director, The Dance Conservatory (Pampanga); Ryan Miranda, Tourism Officer of Magalang, Pampanga; and Norman Tiotuico, an indigenous Kapampangan artist and a cultural advocate.

Out of the 19 candidates, 18 candidates participated in the talent competition.

Among the candidates who were present during the talent portion competition are Yvonne Denise David (Lourdes Sur), Aegie B. Dichoso (Pulung Cacutud), Rachelle Marie H. Memije (Malabanias), Kathleen Joy A. Rivera (Capaya), Micaella Shane V. Cuenco (Pandan), Carla Keith S. Canlas (Lourdes Northwest), Elle Chantei T. Mendoza (Mining), Glennice Turla (Ninoy Aquino), Angel Faith M. Hinaut (Tabun), Zyline Joy Zapanta (Pampang), Frankie Samantha A. Hicban (Sta. Teresita), Jeremy Nicole B. Aquino (Tabun), Cherry Tiffany P. Calaguas (Sta. Trinidad), Angelica Casandra M. Santos (Agapito Del Rosario), Glezette D. Garcia (San jose), Genica Mae J. Cruz (Cutcut), Glaiza V. Solis (Balibago) and Macy Venus G. Gerola (Malabanias).

Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, one of the Chairpersons of MNA 2023, announced that among the 18 candidates, 5 will be chosen to perform during the pre-pageant night on November 18, 2023.

The winner of the MNA 2023 talent portion will be announced during the grand coronation night on November 30, 2023 to be held at the Grand Palazzo Royale.

Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas recognized the exceptional talents showcased by this year’s candidates, expressing her gratitude for all the effort and confidence the participants offered. Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel are Co-Chairpersons of the MNA 2023 Working Committee.

Also present during the event to assist are Angeles City Tourism Officer-in-Charge Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Head Irish Bonus-Llego, Poklong Guina, Frederick Policarpio, Rosette-Ramos-Biag, and Marlon Tuazon.

Also part of the working committee are Gerome Esguerra, Cecille Flores-Sanchez, and Marna Dagumboy-Del Rosario.
