The Andrea Domingo Foundation Museum of Philippine Arts and Culture (ADF-MOPAC) officially opened its doors today, February 6, for a special exhibit celebrating National Arts Month. The showcase features the works of 21 winning artists from MOPAC’s first national painting competition, held in partnership with the Art Association of the Philippines (AAP), headed by President Fidel Sarmiento.

The exhibit, held at MOPAC in Barangay San Agustin, San Fernando, Pampanga, was formally launched with ADF Chairwoman Andrea Domingo and AAP President Fidel Sarmiento leading the ceremony. Anchored on this year’s National Arts Month theme, “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Galing,” the collection highlights contemporary Filipino realities and aspirations, touching on social issues such as poverty, corruption, and environmental concerns.
The display includes the competition’s top three winners, five merit awardees, and 13 honorable mentions, alongside 12 curator-selected MOPAC pieces and eight works by AAP officials. Admission to the exhibit is free, offering visitors a glimpse of Filipino artistic excellence and the museum’s rich cultural heritage.
