The Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and its expressway subsidiaries — NLEX, SCTEX, NLEX Connector, CAVITEX, CALAX, and CCLEX — are on full alert as Typhoon Uwan brings heavy rains and strong winds across Luzon and the Visayas.
To ensure safe and passable roads, flood-control and drainage clearing operations are ongoing across all expressways. Patrol and emergency response teams have been fully deployed, equipped with water pumps, flood barriers, rescue boats, and other safety gear.

MPTC also continues to monitor traffic flow and water levels 24/7 in coordination with government partners, emphasizing that all efforts are focused on maintaining motorist safety and operational readiness.
Motorists are encouraged to stay updated through MPTC’s official Facebook and X pages and the MPT DriveHub app. For assistance along any of its expressways, call the MPTC hotline: 1-35000.
