The City Government of Mabalacat illuminated Mabalacat City Hall in purple as part of the “Purple Your Icon” campaign, symbolizing recognition and appreciation for the strength, capability, and vital role of women in society.

The purple lighting serves as a visual expression of solidarity with the advocacy for women empowerment, gender equality, and the continued promotion of women’s rights and welfare.

City officials said the initiative also highlights the local government’s commitment to programs that empower women and acknowledge their significant contributions to community development.

Through the observance, the city government reaffirmed its support for initiatives that uplift women while encouraging the public to celebrate and recognize women who continue to inspire positive change in society.

The activity is part of the city’s participation in the nationwide celebration of National Women’s Month Celebration.
